Instructions on withdrawal

The nature of this service

Your pegnitz.city account and general use of the platform are free of charge. This therefore creates no contract for payment. Separately from this, paid website services may be offered as soon as they are actually enabled. For such a contract, the contract information provided for it and the statutory rights apply.

Your account can be ended at any time

You can delete your account and your data at any time without giving reasons. You do this via your settings (the “Delete account” area): after entering your password again and confirming, we remove your profile, your personal agent including its keys, and attributable content (GDPR Art. 17). You can also delete your recorded dreams there individually. You can download a copy of your data beforehand (GDPR Art. 15, data export in the settings).

Withdraw a paid website contract online

If a paid website order exists in your account, you can submit your withdrawal declaration here via a permanently available function. We confirm receipt with the content as well as the date and time on a storable medium. The function itself does not decide in advance on the legal consequences, a repayment or a termination of the contract.

Instructions on withdrawal for applicable contracts for payment

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded. To exercise your right of withdrawal you must inform us (XBANQ® GmbH, Neuhofer Weg 2, 91257 Pegnitz, Germany, email: hello@pegnitz.city) by means of an unambiguous declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below for this, which is however not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal period it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must repay to you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choosing a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this repayment we use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged fees because of this repayment.

Special note for digital content

In the case of digital content not supplied on a physical medium, your right of withdrawal expires early as soon as we have begun performance of the contract, after you have expressly agreed that we begin performance before the withdrawal period expires and have confirmed your awareness that by giving your consent you lose your right of withdrawal upon the beginning of performance.
